Where and when does ReGeneration Week take place?
ReGeneration Week will take place in Mariehamn, the Åland Islands, at Uncan youth center and other venues between the 12th until 15th of August.
What happens at ReGeneration Week?
Expert workshops to strategise and develop tools for mobilising the youth climate movement in our region. A youth plenary session to set priorities through democratic means. Intergenerational dialogues where youth will invite senior change-makers to sign a letter of intent around the actions selected.
Who can come?
ReGeneration Week 2023 is open to everyone aged 15-30 in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region who are serious about keeping our planet inhabitable. It is also open to interested people over the age of 30; however, funded volunteer-spots and the Youth Plenary on 14.08 are limited to under 30s
Do I need to book my own accommodation?
If you sign up to volunteer during the event, we will provide you with accommodation. Read more about this in the sign-up form, where you also can specify any special needs. If you just want to participate, you need to book your own accommodation, but we will provide you with tips.
Do I need to participate in all the activities in the programme?
No, the programme is not mandatory, so you can choose what you participate in, and take time for some extra rest if you need it.
